Thua Thien Hue
This scenic province is home to the magnificent former imperial city of Hue amd features miles of white sand beaches and the largest lagoon in Southern Asia
Located in Central Vietnam, Thua Thien Hue Province covers over 5,000 sq.km, with the Truong Son mountain range protecting its western border with Laos and 120 km of coastline skirting its eastern shore. It is home to over 1 million people and many tourist attractions.
The first destination tourists flock to is the former Imperial City of Hue, which is now a World Heritage Site. The Citadel, the Forbidden Purple City and the Thien Mu Pagoda are just some of the famous sights located there. Nearby are several Imperial Tombs and reminders of Vietnam's glorious revolutionary past.
Famous for its natural beauty, Thua Thien Hue Province features miles of beautiful white sand beaches, the largest lagoon in Southeast Asia, Ngu Binh mountain and Bach Ma National Park where many of Asia's plant and animal species can be found.
